Postcards from Kerala

It’s been exactly six months since my last post, and to be honest I have no idea where the time has gone or where I should even begin. There has been a lot happening since my last post. So, here lets begin with my visit to Kerala!

We are lucky to have been to the most serene and peaceful place. Nostalgic for the blissful few weeks we spent. It’s the simplest forms of beauty that really resonate with me. For me one of the things that makes travel magical is opening yourself up to new experiences, sights and sounds which you could never have anticipated, and become immediately enchanted with. We were blown away by the first glimpse of the beauty that Kerala has to offer. The delicate wind that carried the humid air along the beach fronts and jungles so gracefully that it created a perfect atmosphere to really enjoy any sight for hours on end. The brilliant blues, the simmering sun, the luscious hills and mountains in the distance. Absolutely breathtaking. We quickly fell in love with how much beautiful scenery was awaiting us on such a small array of island. Escaping the reality and basking in nothing but palm trees, Keralan’s banana leaves foods, fresh new ideas and an endless amount of inspiration from mother nature and each other. Beauty hid in Kerala around every single corner and I lived and breathed for those magical moments. As I love adventure and am quite the explorer. I love to be in my own little world. Finding my own little place where no one even notices brings me so much joy compared to the places where tourists flooded over. Even while I explore I tend to spend time where nature boasts its truest gems. I always feel a need to push beyond whatever I can see ahead and the things I learn in each phase of my life guides me to a wider awakening.

What I quickly realised was that no matter how much you think you will, it’s near impossible to come back to recreate a moment that has already passed as there’s always new and exciting ones waiting for you around every corner. Always appreciate the present moment for it is and know that It’s not about just seeing beautiful places, it’s about seeing the beauty in every place and it truly doesn’t matter what we do or where we are, we must all appreciate that we are blooming and always designing history.

Sometime endings can be so beautiful and makes your heart little more courageous than ever. Glad I took this precious opportunity to refresh and go back to start a new chapter in life. I will never forget the magical imprint Kerala has left deep in my heart. Looking forward to tackling and overcoming the obstacles that come my way. Thankful for what was, what is, and what will be. So Refreshed, Recharged and Ready. Taking the moment of relaxation to gather my thoughts and layout some future content to provide you all with.
